Mike & Melissa's Wedding

My last wedding of the year, and another one at Meson Sabika. Cupcake flavors: chocolate cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting, yellow cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting, banana cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting, carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and chocolate cupcakes with mint buttercream. The top cake was done by Patty and was made to match the couple's wedding invitation.

Baby Shower Cupcake Tower

These were created for a baby shower whose theme was blue and brown. The "a" is the first letter in the last name of the baby. Chocolate and yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting. Carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

I just received this lovely note from my client:

Rose-
Thank you for making our shower such a special one! your cupcakes were just lovely - and absolutely delicious. They were a true hit - the ladies loved them and the new mom was so excited! It was a pleasure to meet and work with you - we look forward to working with you again! Megan & Nicki

Bumblebees and Flowers

Large chocolate and yellow cupcakes both with vanilla buttercream frosting. My client asked for flowers and bumblebees because she is an avid gardener. These were fun to do.

Daisy Cupcake

Made these just for fun :)

Cupcake Party Favors

I made this to showcase how cupcakes can be used as party favors. How fun to leave a party with a special treat wrapped in a bow.

Rubber Duck Sugar Cookie Favors

These were created as party favors for a 1st birthday party. The theme was rubber ducky and the party colors were yellow and blue.

Spaghetti and Meatball Cupcakes

My client requested these cupcakes for her daughter's birthday party. They are going to see "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" and then wanted cupcakes for after the movie. I would say these are appropriate. I got the idea for these from the book Hello Cupcake. They were really fun to do. The spaghetti is buttercream, the meatball is Ferrero Rocher candy, the sauce is raspberry jam mixed with buttercream and the parmesan is grated white chocolate. It's almost hard to wrap your brain around the fact that they are sweet not savory. I hope the kids like them.

16th Birthday Cupcakes

These are for a girl turning 16. She specifically requested butterflies and dragonflies. I thought I would add a little dimension to them to look like they were flying. Yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Air Force Reunion Cookies

These cookies were created to be a part of a goodie bag for an Air Force Reunion of 50 years. The party goers were coming in from around the country and when they arrived at their hotel they were going to be receiving welcoming bags with my cookies in them. My client was planning the festivities and thought everyone likes to have something sweet waiting for them after traveling. I would definitely have to agree with her.

Housewarming Gift

These cookies were created as a housewarming gift. My client's friend was moving to Naperville and she wanted to give her a gift to celebrate. The cookies were designed around her friend's favorite colors.

Birthday Party Hat Sugar Cookies

These were created for a 1 year old's birthday party. Patty did the cake that was also a party hat. I think they are really whimsical and fun for a child's party.

Daisy Cupcakes

Created for one of my regular clients. They always call me for each member of their family's birthday. I was told the birthday girl's favorite colors were green and yellow and decided on daisies. Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Twin's First Birthday Cupcake Tower

My twin niece and nephew, Autumn and Logan, turned 1!! I made a cupcake tower to go along with their pea in the pod theme. The cupcake flavors are yellow with chocolate fudge frosting, lemon with lemon curd cream cheese, carrot with cream cheese and chocolate with vanilla buttercream. Patty made the adorable cake on top and the two little smash cakes for the kids. Judging from the pictures I think they liked their cake :)

Star Wars Theme Cupcakes

My client's son was having a Star Wars themed birthday party and asked me to come up with cupcakes to match that. I made light sabers to go on top of chocolate and yellow cupcakes all with vanilla buttercream frosting.
