Emma Rose's Cookies

These were done for a friend's daughter who is turning 2. They live in the Kansas City area and it is my first attempt at shipping sugar cookies. If all goes well I'll start shipping cookies from now on. I'll make sure to post after the cookies have arrived and announce the status of them. Hopefully they don't have a tin full of crumbs. :)

Monkey Cupcakes

These were created for an 8 year old girl's birthday party. She is having a jungle themed party. That is the reason for the green frosting, to look like the jungle. The monkey with the party hat is for the birthday girl. I didn't realize when I was taking the picture that his ear was falling off. I had to repair it with a little corn syrup. That stuff is like glue :)

Polka Dot Cupcakes

These were created for a baby shower. The design on the cupcakes matches the colors and design on the invitation. Yellow and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. Chocolate chip cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting.

Shoes & Flowers

These were created for a client who was having a Sex and The City themed party. She just wanted a one-dimensional decoration, but wanted it to be in pastel colors. This is what I came up with for her. Lemon cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Cubs Cupcakes

These were done for the couple whose wedding I highlighted. He was turning 30 and she wanted to surprise him at the firehouse with some cupcakes. Since he is such a huge Cubs fan, she wanted me to add a few decorations that reflected that. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

Here are some pictures from the wedding I made the cupcakes for. I was so excited that the bride sent these to me. I love the professional pictures so much more than the ones I took. Thanks, Kate for sending these to me. Love them.

Courtney's Cupcakes

I created these for a 13 year old girl's birthday party. She was having her party at the beach, so we went with the flip flop theme. I designed the circle with the flower specifically for the birthday girl so she had something special and different from the rest.

Heart Cupcakes

These were created for a client who wanted some cupcakes delivered to a friend. She wanted these to be a surprise for a friend whom she felt needed a little pick me up. I think cupcakes make a great gift. The cupcakes are chocolate with a vanilla buttercream frosting. This is my large size cupcake which is about double the size of a regular cupcake. The large size is fun, because you can tie a coordinating ribbon around it.

3 Bride Bridal Shower

My client was throwing a bridal shower honoring 3 different brides. I created these cakes as the favors to be given to the guests. The red design represents the bride that is getting married in the Fall. The blue design represents the bride that is getting married in the Winter and the multi-colored design represents the bride that is having a tropical wedding.

Cameron's Cupcakes

These were created for Cameron's 3rd birthday. My client, her mother, wanted the large cupcake for Cameron and the regular size for all the guests. I love the color combination that she picked out.

I also handed out boxes of homemade turtles and caramels. The picture was done by my friend Karrie who has a beautiful photography studio in Naperville.

Easter Egg Sugar Cookies

60th Birthday Cookie Favors

My client was throwing herself a 60th birthday party (how great is that) and wanted some sort of fun birthday cake cookie as a favor. This is what I came up with. I tied them with a red ribbon because that is her favorite color.

Funky Flower Sugar Cookie

I love big flowers in a funky shape. These were done for a 3 year olds birthday party. They were her favors. Love the color.

Birthday Cake Sugar Cookies

I made these as party favors for my daughter's birthday. She chose the colors and I created the design. I don't think her friends even cared how they looked, they just wanted to eat them.

Thank You Heart

I created these sugar cookies for my daughter's dance teachers as a thank you. She gave them to her teachers at the end of year dance recital.

Bra and Panty Sugar Cookies

These were created for a bridal shower. My client really wanted bras and panties and since I didn't have a cookie cutter in that shape, I used hearts. These were so fun to do.

Alex's Graduation

These were created as the favors for a high school graduation. Alex's school colors were light and dark blue. I gave the cookies to my client in bags and then she added her own tag and ribbon. My client owns a great invitation store, so she has access to great ribbons and tags.Check her out at www.youreinvitedtoo.com

Inspire Dance School

These were done for a party for the girl's in the Inspire dance school's "mini" company. My client wanted cookies with the school's name on them and then each cookie had the girl's name on the bag with ribbon. The cupcakes were made to match the cookies and the i from the school's name. I made chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, both with vanilla buttercream.

Close-up

Here is a close up of the cupcakes that were on the wedding tower.

Wedding Cupcake Tower

This was my first wedding cupcake tower. I love the tower that I had made. It is solid wood and weighs a ton. It has to be stable to hold all those cupcakes! The decor for the wedding was these purple/pink orchids and black accents. I made the decorations the colors of the orchids and put the couple's monogram in black. They chose four different flavor cupcakes; coconut, red velvet, chocolate and carrot. They all had cream cheese frosting.

Birthday Cupcake

Yellow cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting. These were done for a 17 year old girl's birthday. They needed to be feminine without being babyish. This is the design I came up with. My client was really happy with them. I love the dragees in the center...always fun to use those.

Wedding Monogram Cupcakes

A client ordered these for her nephew's wedding. These were for the get together the family was having between the church and the reception. The wedding colors were blue and silver. I made the blue circles with the couple's monogram and dusted each with luster dust to give that shimmer and appearance of some silver. The cupcakes are lemon with a lemon buttercream frosting.

Fun In The Sun

These were the favors for a boy's birthday party. He was having a pool party in his backyard. His mother wanted the beach balls for the boys and the suns for the girls. These were really fun to do.

Monogram Cookie

I made these for a bridal shower. The cookies were favors to be placed at each person's place setting. They were to match the envelopes and the invitations, that had the bride's initial on them. They were all tied in bags with the same color ribbon as the green background.

Preschool Graduation

I made these for a client who owns a preschool. When her class graduated she was going to hand these out as their treats. Each child, and teacher, had their own personalized cookie.

High School Graduation

These were both done for High School graduation parties. The lemon cupcakes with lemon buttercream frosting were for a girl graduating from Neuqua Valley High School and the chocolate with chocolate fudge frosting were for a boy who graduated from Naperville North.

Daisy Cupcakes

These were done as surprise from one friend to another. My client asked me to deliver these to her friend's home on her birthday. What's a better gift than cupcakes? Especially chocolate with cream cheese frosting.

Monogram Cupcakes

I did these for a little girl's birthday party. It is her first initial. Her mother was throwing her a "Fancy Nancy" party and wanted everything to be fancy. We went with the script thinking that fit the bill. The cupcakes are chocolate chip with chocolate fudge frosting.

Lauren's Birthday!

My 8 year old client was very particular about this job. She wanted hippos on her cupcake in the color that matched her favorite hippo stuffed animal. I decided to make baby and mama hippos for fun.

Birthday Bunny

These bunnies were done for a 2 year olds birthday party! The theme of her party was bunnies having tea. I came up with this design, because it felt the most like an old fashioned bunny and not the Easter Bunny.

Annie Sugar Cookies

St. John of the Cross School in Western Springs put on a production of "Annie" and these cookies were for the cast. One of the moms in charge of the play came up with the shapes to go along with the story. I thought it was very clever on her part.

Valentine Treats!

These sugar cookies were done as Valentine gifts for my client's neighbors. Her children are grown and she wanted to deliver treats to the smaller children in her neighborhood. It was her idea to personalize each one with the mini heart.....great idea!! These go down as one of my favorite cookies. Love the design.

1st Birthday Cupcakes

These were done for a little girl's first birthday. I did yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting. The party was at the Morton Arboretum and the mom said the little girl loves butterflies. I decided to do butterflies along with flowers in very girly colors. I also did a "smash" cake for the birthday girl, decorated with the same butterflies and flowers. Really fun!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

These were done for a 2 year olds birthday party. I made some chocolate and some yellow cupcakes. All had vanilla buttercream that was tinted blue. Primary color stars and dots completed the decorations.
