Baby Shower Cupcakes

I was asked to create some flowers in the colors of the baby shower invites......this is what I came up with. Yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting. Flowers made out of candy clay.

Ladybug on Large Cupcake

I know I've posted ladybugs before, but this is the first one I did on a large cupcake........so I have to show it again! Red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Ladybug and leaf made of candy clay.

I received this lovely note from a guest at the party:

I was at the baby shower Carmen C. hosted yesterday and the lady bug cupcakes were AMAZING!!! I don't have any parties coming up in the near future but I have your info and will definitely order from you for my next party that requires a cake. The cup cakes were beautiful so I figured no chance they'll taste good too but I was wrong, without a doubt the tastiest cupcake I've ever had, I loved it!

Great job!

Happy 50th Birthday

These were created for a woman turning 50 and all of her friends are celebrating tonight at Bunco. Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Decorations are candy clay.

I received this wonderful note from my friend who ordered the cupcakes:

Dear Rose,
What can I say? Your cookies and cupcakes were the hit of the party, in fact the hit of the day yesterday! Not only did everyone rave about how beautiful they were, but they LOVED the way they tasted! I think the red velvet might have been the favorite, I nabbed one to bring home! There weren't many of them left!
Thank you again for loaning me the stand too. I put some flowers and baby's breath around and between the cupcakes and the presentation was great! I would send you a picture. but I left my camera at Kellies' house.
The Bunco group wanted me to send them your web site. I raved about what a great job you do, and I am hoping that the word will get around about the great work you do. I had several people thank me for going the extra mile to make sure Beth M. had something special for her birthday.
Just wanted to say thanks for doing such a wonderful job! I know you do it for all of your clients, but I was especially proud to be able to say that my friend had done this beautiful, delicious work!
Beth

Bridal Shower

These cupcakes and cookies were created for a bridal shower at Meson Sabika. My client asked me to make hearts that matched the colors on the invitation. She also asked me to create a cookie favor that was golf themed. A golf bag was decided on, with colors to match the invite as well. The groom is a golf pro and they wanted to include him in the shower. The cupcakes are yellow with chocolate fudge frosting. Decorations are candy clay.

Princess Cucpakes

These were created for a little girl's 3rd birthday party. The cupcakes are chocolate and chocolate chip both with vanilla buttercream tinted light pink. There is also carrot with cream cheese frosting tinted light pink. The decorations are little tiaras made out of chocolate. The large cupcake is chocolate chip with vanilla buttercream; it has a star on a stick and is for the birthday girl.

1st Birthday Cupcakes

My client had asked to do Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed cupcakes for her son's first birthday. Since I don't decorate anything with licensed characters, I suggested that we just do the colors from the show. We settled on white, black, red and yellow stars with the #1; all made out of chocolate. Yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and chocolate chip cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting.
