Jaime & Josh's Wedding

This tower was created for a wedding at Meson Sabika in Naperville. The restaurant is Spanish and the bride and groom decided on a Spanish style theme for the wedding. The cake was made by Patty, and was covered in red candy clay with black lace detailing also made of candy clay. The decorations for the cupcakes were red roses, red flowers with gold dragees, black pearls and gold dragees. All very Spanish! The cupcake flavors were: red velvet with cream cheese frosting, white chocolate with caramel buttercream, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate with vanilla buttercream.

I received this lovely note from the groom's mother:

Dear RoseMarie,
Thank you for the fantastic cupcake tower that you created for Josh and Jaime's wedding. It was just perfect. It looked stunning - the cakes tasted completely delicious - the guests devoured them with great gusto and many contented ohhhhhhhhh s and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhs- and you were absolutely brilliant to work with. What a pleasure. Thank you for everything you did to make the wedding such a glorious one.
Thank you again very, very much

Kristen & Jay's Wedding

My first wedding this year! It was really fun to do. The colors for the wedding were navy blue and light pink, so the bride asked me to put navy blue ribbon around the tiers to tie the tower into the rest of the designs in the room. The top cake and grooms cake were made by my friend Patty. The cupcake choices on the tower were red velvet with vanilla buttercream, coconut with cream cheese frosting, chocolate with strawberry buttercream, white chocolate with coffee buttercream and carrot with cream cheese frosting.

Flower Cupcakes

These were ordered from a client in Atlanta to be delivered to her sister-in-law in Naperville. She gave me complete control and said she just wanted a decoration in pink and green. I thought a big flower says springtime. Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. The flower is candy clay.

Baseball Sugar Cookies

These are going to be handed out at the birthday boy's baseball game, which he is playing on his actual birthday. His mom got one for each of his teammates.

Purse Sugar Cookies

These were created as place cards for a retirement party. The guest of honor owns a purse boutique and has sold the business and is retiring. These will be put out at each guests plate at the party. These were so fun to do. I was given creative freedom by my client and told to just use shades of pink. I saw these designs on cookies from a very talented cookie decorator in Canada. It's so great to see what other cookie decorators all over the world are coming up with; got to love the internet :)!!

I received this lovely note from my client:

Just wanted you to know that your adorable cookies were "the hit" of the retirement party!!I I talked to one gal who said it was too cute to eat and has it sitting on her desk!

Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us.
