Ladybugs & Daisies

A regular client of mine called me to make cupcakes for one of her co-worker's birthdays. She asked me to deliver them to the office as a surprise. She liked the ladybugs and I said we could also add some daisies to make it Spring like. The weather here has been so cold that even a "Springy" looking cupcake can cheer you up :) Chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

Nail Polish Bottles & Butterflies

These were created for a little girl's birthday party. The theme of her party was "spa", so I created the nail polish bottles for the tops of her cupcakes. The butterflies are going in her goodie bags. The colors of both go along with the theme of her party. The cupcakes are yellow with vanilla buttercream frosting. The nail polish bottles are made of chocolate.

These were created for a play group get together. The monkeys are on mini yellow cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting and the ladybugs are mini red velvet with cream cheese frosting. I put a closeup of the lady bug because I think she is so cute :)

1st Birthday Cupcake Tower & Cookies

These were created for a 1 year old boy who is having his birthday party today. The theme of the party was cupcakes, so I put little chocolate cupcakes on top of real cupcakes. The sugar cookies were also made in the shape of cupcakes. Yellow and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing. The smash cake for the birthday boy is yellow with buttercream. I hope he destroys it and I have some good pictures to post :)

Firefighter Themed 3rd Birthday

These were created for a little boy who is celebrating his 3rd birthday. The theme of the party is firefighters. He specifically wanted the fire hat and I suggested the flame, both with his age on them. Yellow and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream.

I received this sweet note from my client:

Dear Rose,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for the great fire hat and fire cupcakes for Jake's third birthday. Not only were they beautiful, but they were delicious too! The yellow cupcake was the best we've ever had. All the moms and children raved about them. And, most importantly, Jake was thrilled with them!
We really appreciate the fabulous job you did.
Thank you so much.

Birthday Cake Sugar Cookies

These were created for my friend Laurie. She wanted cookies to celebrate her birthday and four of her classmates. She was going to bring them to school to share with everyone.

Sydney's Birthday Treats

I made these for my niece Sydney who is having her 12th birthday party on Valentine's day. These are going to be her favors when the girls go home. We did hearts with her two favorite colors.

Valentine's Day Treats

These were created for a class gift. My client's daughter will be handing them out to her kindergarten class as her valentines. I wanted to give them the look of conversation hearts.

Client Valentine Gifts

I had a request to make 386 cupcakes to go out as client gifts for a company called Gerard Design. What a great way to say Happy Valentine's Day to your clients. This was by far the biggest order I've ever had and I had 48 hours to complete it.........talk about back breaking. I enlisted my friend, Patty, to help me deliver. It was 40 boxes.....good thing she has a big car!!
Each box of 12 contained; 3 chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, 3 red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese, 3 yellow cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting and 3 white chocolate cupcakes with coffee buttercream. The boxes of 6 had 1 of each flavor and then whatever flavor would fit in there ;) The decoration was an orange heart with silver center and the boxes were tied with orange tulle. Orange is the company's color. They made up the tags and sent them to me; they were really cute.

1st Birthday Cupcake Tower

Another cupcake tower for a little girl's 1st birthday. The mom came up with the idea of having the smash cake square to look like a present and asked if I could put the number one on the side and make a party hat for the top. All elements of the hat are edible except the pom pom on the top......I like the dimension a real item adds to it. The cupcakes are frosted to match the cake and have pastel colored sprinkles. Chocolate cupcakes and yellow cupcakes both with vanilla buttercream frosting. The smash cake is yellow with buttercream as well.

Baby Shower Cupcakes

These were created for a baby shower for a woman who is having twin girls!! How fun! Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate fudge and vanilla buttercream frosting. Flowers are chocolate.

85th Birthday Cookies

My client asked me to create cookies for her grandmother's 85th birthday. The only request was that I do something purple because that is her grandmother's favorite color. I came up with these hearts with a stenciled design on top. I hope grandma likes them :)

Stenciled Cookies

I just purchased these stencils and am having so much fun with them. I thought this would be great on a onesie and I think it looks really cute. The white on white heart would be great for a wedding or bridal shower.
