This was so much fun to do! The cupcakes match the invitations, which were pink with white polka dots and outlined with purple, green and orange flowers. The smash cake for the birthday girl incorporates all of the elements. Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, yellow and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream tinted pink.

These were created for a 1 year old's birthday party. The theme was Bug & Boo. I did ladybugs and ghost cupcakes. Ladybug cupcakes are chocolate with vanilla buttercream and the ghost are on yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream tinted black. There are going to be some messy little mouths at the party :) The little cake is for the birthday girl to smash when they sing Happy Birthday.

I've created this slide show video (actually my 13 year old did all the work) for prospective brides to look at the different cupcake towers I have created for weddings. Cupcake towers can be decorated many number of ways. These are just a few examples, but the sky is the limit. Cupcakes are really fun at a wedding because you can have as many flavors as you like which translates to guests getting to choose their favorite flavor cake. Enjoy the video!
These cupcakes were created for my client's book club meeting. They read "Sin in the Second City", which is set during the early 1900's in Chicago. We decided on a Victorian theme for the cupcakes. I did my interpretation of Victorian lace on a heart. Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
I received this lovely note from my client:
Rose, The cupcakes were a HUGE hit with the ladies of the bookclub.
They were moist and delicious, and perfect with the theme. Thank you so
much for making them. Joan B.

These were created for a 5 year old boys birthday party. My client asked for a variety of sports balls with the number 5 for his age. She asked that they be on green frosting that looks like grass. Yellow cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. Chocolate decorations.
My husband is competing in a Ryder Cup golf outing between two subdivisions. These cupcake are for the after party......hence the 19th hole. Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. Chocolate decorations. Everything is edible but the toothpick holding the flag.

I love how this cupcake tower turned out. Natalie, the wedding florist, decorated the tower with flowers that matched the centerpieces. They were such beautiful flowers.......she did a great job!!! Yellow cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting. Chocolate cupcakes with coffee buttercream icing and orange sugar. Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and pink sugar. Coconut cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and coconut sprinkled on top.
